What a nice thing to say, Sister.
However, I must warn you that this is a dischordant note in the great symphony that is fixing to be played.

I don't understand what the statement being made in this post is...
But, to me, when there is a thread such as this and a post is made that simply states... I love my pastor etc...
It tends to seem, on the surface, to be making some sort of statement that those having this discussion do not.
Now... I would never expect that of Cindy... But that is often what can be derived from such a random post in the midst of a subject such as this one.

Oh, come one Bro...let's not be coy.
You and I are both old hands around here...you know what the prevailing flavor around here is when pastors start being discussed.

Okay... I see what you are saying now.
I was actually saying... I don't know what your statement was...
I wasn't denying anything. LOL
I have actually been pretty impressed with our ability to discuss this without the usually march of "preacher hater" accusations.
It has been nice.

Bro, you do better when you stick to the stream-of consciousness monologues with a Yoda-esque flavor.
I don't really want to do this.

Personally...
I love and respect the pastor where I attend. He is a fair man with a heart for people and truth.

Personally I love my Pastor and his wife.
But since you wanted to state how folks feel about pastor's on the forum.
I think you should be more clear and state how we feel...
You sound more and more like Barney Fife... "Andy"..

Personally, Amos, I think you WANT that dischordant note to be played so you can say, "See, I told you so!"
But, I've read thru the entire thread, and I haven't seen anyone blasting or disrespecting pastors.
I have been blessed with a great pastor, and I still appreciate him even though I no longer attend the church that he leads.
My question mostly revolves around why the other offices are seemingly diminished in our generation.
