I can say that over a pulpit, and the older sisters raise their eyebrows and elder brothers amen and nod. Yet, if I said God sees me naked in the shower, I may get a look like they were eating unripe persimmons.

I love my daughters, and I would like to have them understand how their future husbands treat other women, will tell them a lot on how they will be treated.

Unfortunately, this isn't fool proof.
My ex treated his mother and sisters wonderfully. He treated me well too, for awhile.

Of course, nothing's foolproof.
But I think the "mothers and sisters" thing holds true most of the time.
If he speaks harshly or disrespectfully to his mother, there's no reason to think he wont do the same to his wife.

I've thought about that. I teach them to watch, like their dad watches.
Fortunately for them and I, we both pick up what others don't see. I think they may be better at it then their father. The best observance occurs when we look at the little things that happen.
I do understand what you are saying, but they will be watching, and I will be watching. Also Sister Benincasa, is not a watcher, she is a questioner.
Which when it comes down to it, I know people would rather be watched then questioned.

 That's all cool. I'm sure they have a better chance of things than I did...just cuz y'all are watching and questioning. I didn't have parents doing that, or anyone else for that matter.
