That's not really the point. (my point)
The point is that Jesus didn't die on the cross just to regulate our dress codes, but so many Apostolics seem to think that he did. We witness to people so that we can get them into the church, filled with the Holy Ghost and then get those sinful pants off the women, makeup off their faces, hair cut on men, etc. It's the primary FOCUS, way too often.
That bothers me. Too often, leading people to Jesus, drawing them into a close relationship with Him is NOT our focus. And it should be.
I respect standards when people genuinely believe them, and are doing them for the glory of God. I don't respect them when they ARE god.
