You mean, I can have all the porn (magazines) I want sitting on our end tables in the living room, but it's OK as long as I don't pick them up to look inside?
I done found myself a loophole!

I forget if Hulu is a Netflix streaming device or one that you rent individual movies for a fee?

No...make sure you put them in a cardboard box so you can't see the covers. You'll know they're there, but you don't ever have to open the box.

Re: ***HULU TV: An evil plot to DESTROY THE WORLD
I already watch our DirecTV DVR on my computer..... and can watch Netflix on the TV.... Seems like the lines have been blurred so much as to lose all semblance of there ever having BEEN a line in the first place.

So Wholehearted, Benincasa, et al, will have to make the right choice based on their principles and the Spirit of God dwelling in them ....
AFF, CAF or the Hollywood trash over at Hulu?
What are the repercussions to their manuals now that most of these org pastors HAVE A TV IN THEIR HOME?
Surely they are not going to throw away their TV ready computers?

It's like nonchalantly opening your front door... donning your wife beater and boxers .... strapped to 350 kilos of fertilizer, doused in nitric acid, while connected to a digital timer and fuse and telling the local authorities, SWAT, ATF, FBI, and NSA ... making a 3 block perimeter around your home ....
" No, I don't really have a bomb here ... *yawn* *scratch*... Any you guys have a light?"

Re: ***HULU TV: An evil plot to DESTROY THE WORLD
Our church has always been a 'no tv' church. Our pastor recently made the above points. We now all, for the most part, have access to television programming in our homes, or on our cell phones.
He said we'll have to treat it the same way we do music, books, etc. Does it dishonor God? Is it taking pleasure in evil doers?
In my personal opinion, that rules out a lot of television programming.
Our pastor is not the dogmatic, send everyone to hell type, though.
This does give fuel to the fire of the preachers that preach against the internet. They'll feel even more vindicated in their position.
I personally hope the Body of Christ will grow up, and be able to discern good from evil on their own, and in their hearts have no desire to partake in evil. Really get to the heart of the matter. Wouldn't that be wonderful? If I keep looking at porn on the internet, instead of pitching the internet for everyone in the church, why don't we pray and figure out why I'm trapped by porn? (I'm NOT thank God! Just wanted to be clear. )
