Smallpox Myths, Exposed
There is unfounded fear rising in the United States over a possible smallpox outbreak. This fear is being fueled by misinformation and outlandish rumors. The following article lists several common misconceptions about the smallpox virus along with evidence to refute them.
1. Smallpox is highly contagious.
"The infection is spread by droplet contamination. Coughing and sneezing are not generally part of the infection. Smallpox will not spread like wildfire." Walter A. Orenstein, MD, Director of the CDC's National Immunization Program (NIP), CDC meeting June 20, 2002.
2. Smallpox is spread by casual contact.
"Transmission of smallpox occurs only after intense personal contact, defined by the CDC as constant exposure, occurring within 6-7 feet, for a minimum of 6-7 days." Joel Kuritsky, MD, Director of the National Immunization Program and Early Smallpox Response and Planning at the CDC. Am. J. Epid. 1971; 91:316-326. (For more from Dr. Kuritsky, see below.)
3. The death rate from smallpox is 30 percent.
Case fatality rate in adults was "much lower than generally advertised" and closer to 10 percent to 15 percent in adults. "Even without mass vaccination, smallpox would have died out anyway...." Dr. Tom Mack, USC, CDC meeting June 20, 2002
In 1900, 21,064 smallpox cases were reported, and 894 patients died -- that is 4.2 percent. MMWR. Achievements in Public Health, 1900-1999 Impact of Vaccines Universally Recommended for Children -- United States, 1990-1998. April 02, 1999/48(12);243-248
What's even more amazing he used smallpox as a basis for childhood vaccinations.... LOL
Also here is a link about vaccines and she discusses smallpox.... She is very good! The whole video is online but for some reason this video starts right after smallpox on google/youtube and she is at the end etc... Do a search and I believe you can find the whole video and how vaccines had really nothing to do with the elimination of small pox and the statistics prove it. Actually the vaccine brought more issues just like pretty much all of them do.
I realize your point in this thread (correct me if I'm wrong) is to voice your opposition to the variety of psychiatric drugs on the market, and admittedly WAY over prescribed. I do think there is a place for those with extreme bi-polar disorders and depressions (the kind of people who end up in the local jail when they stop taking their drugs due to violent outbursts), but yes, the vast majority of people are just hyperactive (exercise more!) or feeling the blues to one degree or another (again, if EXTREME, then you may need help of a chemical nature).
What bothers me is the people who come out of the woodwork in these discussions who say "Just say NO to ALL drugs!" (except vitamins and homeopathic junk). Chemotherapy WORKS! Radiation works! To say otherwise is to rely on sources heard over Art Bells Coast to Coast program or listening too much to "Rita" -the infamous believer in the 'mothership' who occasionally calls Rush Limbaugh's program.
I personally know these type of people. One couple just lost their daughter because they refused to take her to the doctor. A simply insulin shot would have saved her. (See her case currently going through the Wisconsin court system.)
If you have a moment, go back to the first statement I made in this thread and watch the video. We must seperate medical problems that can be proven and cured with a legitimate test, verses mental problems that have no valid test to determine if a sickness even exists.
Bi-polar, depression, ADD, ADHD, and so on, cannot be validated with blood, xray, unire, or any other conclusive test. This leaves the door wide open for improper and unethical diagnosis and treatment.
Another note; depression, hyperactivity, joy, sadness, we all deal with these and the Lord is sufficient to give us balance in these areas. There is a time, as Solomon says, for all these seasons in our lives. We must learn patience during the famine.
This is a personal choice. I don't dictate to people of what they should or shouldn't do.
The wise will determine thier fate or success. We must be sensitive to the ills that seek to destroy us and take action.
Again, this is your choice to make. When we take it personal, it becomes important. Think about what you're doing. Determine your goals and your destiny.

Sadly alot of these are caused by vaccines and further complicated by more medication as you have pointed out. When we do these things we go against natural law given by God. Thus we reap the judgment of foolish man on ourselves.

There are several medical conditions that cannot be absolutely verified by conclusive testing, including Parkinson's, Multiple Sclerosis, and chronic insomnia. Even rabies cannot be confirmed until the person has died.
It is fact that lack of certain chemicals in the brain can be problematic for the sufferer. Parkinson's is one such disease where the mere lack of dopamine in the brain causes their symptoms.
Serotonin is responsible for many things, including moods. You cannot control your own emotions, but the chemicals that your body releases does that for you. Even your blood pressure is controlled by chemicals that you produce or don't produce.
With over 1000 hormones in the body, not to mention other chemicals, it's next to impossible to have conclusive testing for every disease where chemicals are to blame.
I have a condition that can only be diagnosed by eliminating all other possibilities. It's intracranial hypertension caused by having high spinal pressure that forces spinal fluid into my brain. I suffered for years from this condition...over 30...before being diagnosed and having brain surgery that 'cured' me. There is no conclusive test for this disease.
That being said, I completely agree with your second statement as well. I also believe that too many people are improperly diagnosed as having those illnesses and put on meds which don't help at all, and many times, make things worse. I wish there was a way to correctly diagnose someone as being bi-polar, ADD, and all that instead of trying med after med after med. I believe it delays not only treatment, but it also discourages people from continuing to seek help.
