1. During swimming lessons, when I was 6 years old, I pushed off to swim across the pool, and my trunks came off.

2. I don't have a lot of close friends

3. My wife is my best friend

4. I have worked for a very diverse type of jobs. I have worked for a power plant, L'EGGS Panty Hose, and worked in million dollar homes.

5. I have met and been in the home of Bob and Shay Griese, and touched the Miami Dolphins 1972 17-0 football

6. I once worked for a internationally known Gospel Recording Artist

7. I hate seafood.

8. I am by nature a very mischievous person, and love joking and laughing

9. About half way through this thread, I was thinking of starting a thread titled "5 Thinks I Don't Want AFF To Know About Me".

6. I wanted to be in the Miss America contest as a young teen, but I didn't qualify for the height requirements.

7. At 21 they were having a Mrs. Beauty contest and a girl at the 7-11 store asked me if I was going to enter. lol I was still too short.

I know the feeling, who knew that to be an airline stewardess you had to be over 5. 7.

These are some things that I don't usually share but I will try:
1. I accepted Christ as my personal savior at age 7 in a Southern Baptist Church and was Baptized in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. This was just as real to me as the experience I received in 1967 when I was filled with the Holy Ghost and re-baptized in Jesus name. It was my lifetime commitment.
2. I refused to take typing in High School and opted for Shop because even at the ripe old age of 16 I refused to be anyone's secretary.
3. At 17 I graduated from High School taking my junior and senior year together so I could attend Bible College in 1975.
4. At 16 I fell in love and didn't get over it for quite sometime.
5. Signing is my offering of praise to God.
6. Family is my heart. I love my children and grandchildren more than they understand or will ever know.
7. I have reached all my goals in life except one: to write a number 1 best seller.
8. There has only been 3 men in my life that I have truly loved and I may never love again. It hurts too much as I don't get over things easily.
9. I was nominated for Home Coming Queen but refused it because I didn't dance and wasn't allowed to go to games.
10. I modeled for a dress shop when in high school but turned down Miss Teen America pagent because I don't wear bathing suits in public.

I know I thought that would have been fun also.

I almost got to be 5'.

Too bad you didn't have the experience of Number 4 (L'EGGS) before Number 1 happened.

7. I was asked to try out to be a cheerleader by the school treasurer. He said his Mom would pay for my uniform. I chickend out.

8. I was asked to screen test for the Urban Cowboy that John Travolta starred in. I think he is short and I would have made him look tall.

I thought it was a hoax. Later found out they really did do screening in Houston for that movie.
