To me Apostolic would mean,holding to the doctrines that the Apostles in the early church taught.But can also mean walking in Apostolic power and anointing.In short following the pratice and doctrine of the primitive or early church.

Whether he likes it or not, Epley hit it right on the head... It is a subjective term. There is no scriptural definition of apostolic. The closest you get in scripture is the phrase "The Apostles Doctrine". And we all know it ain't apostolic doctrine until you start preaching against televisions and instituting a dress code.

Maybe we need to be a little less "apostolic" and a lot more like Jesus. That will take care of any labelling.

Speaking of being Apostolic, Brother Chester Wright spoke at my church years ago and said that he loves to tell people that he is Apostolic. The reason being is that most people don't know what it means and he gets to explain the Apostles Doctrine to them. I think that's a great idea.
