Re: Living Arrangements
Haven't been keeping up with this thread, but I wondered if Rhoni has found a *ahem* room-mate as of yet.

Here's hoping Rhoni has a productive and non-depressing day today! Yay!

Re: Living Arrangements
Rhoni,
I still think you owe an explanation about what you meant by second virgin and if you can't be a second virgin you might as well cuddle. Depression or no depression, you need to tell me what you meant. I've invested my time defending you here. Step up to the plate and say what you mean. You can PM me if you want even.

Re: Living Arrangements
We have one kid who loves to 'yank our chain'. He says perfectly outrageous things just to get a response. He thinks it's funny. When he does that, I just look at him. But my husband falls for it every time and responds to him and gets all upset and tries to convince him of a different point of view. I'm constantly telling my husband - 'He's just yanking your chain, he doesn't really believe that, just stop responding to it.'
I think Rhoni likes to yank chains, too.

I think there is a high probability that your "chain yank" assessment is involved in the content mix.
I am one who considers that "true expression" is often interlaced in most thread starts, even when the majority of the content might be hyperbole.
Online discussion boards present an option to be a kind of caricature of
our true self. By examining the margins I think there are glimpses of the true witness...peaking around the virtual masks.
