Well, its definitely true that religion doesnt save anyone, but having a religious mindset is a good thing. At least that makes them more receptive to the possibility of accepting the gospel.
I remember when I was at a church in NYC and we were in a area that was very secular-minded. It was amazing and disheartening to me how many people in that area just had no regard for church or religion in general. Even when we were handing out tracts in the area, some of those folks would look at us and walk past us like we were trying to hand them piles of do-do.
Here in GA, as in other parts of the south, its a much different environment. I feel like here you can talk more freely about God, religion, etc, and people are a lot more receptive to it. It's a significant difference, and a very good one.
