You all are just wonderful and it's great to hear from all of you. I hope to be able to continue posting here about alot of great things. My interests certainly don't lie in one thing. I'm sure that I could contribute in so many other ways. Jeff.

Re: Gay apostolics?
Right now I'm so used to rejection that for someone to actually want to talk with me is foreign. But you know God and I have wonderful chats over a great cup of maxwell house each morning.

So yes, I contend that there are Gay Apostolics. If God loved them enough to forgive their sin and give them the Holy Ghost, I'm man enough to acknowledge them as part of the body. And if they fall, they are fallen brothers and/or sisters.
I don't know why we're going around in circles trying to qualify who's "worthy" of wearing the label "Apostolic" like it's some kind of honorary title earned by our own merits or something.
Now, I don't condone sin. But I will be friends with, pray with, and encourage gay Christians and even *gasp* gay people. But when the rubber meets the road I let them know, I believe it's a sin. They need to take it to God and pray for strength to overcome just like I do my sins.
I just felt like I had to speak up here.
God bless.

I think most of us would approve of those sentiments.
God is patient and merciful, and we should be too.
I think the issue though, is that in the "Gay Pentecostal" movement, these folks embrace their sin, and teach that it's NOT sin.
THAT is a huge problem, and something we should never approve of, or compromise with.

Well if I never hear from you all again, it was great conversing with you. And I pray that the Lord bless you in all ways. Jeff.

Re: Gay apostolics?
I think I am definately more compassionate about the subject than I used to be. I do think that people struggle with the issue genetically. I think some people might choose to engage in homosexual practices only because they are sinful but I don't think all people necessarily choose their orientation. We all have issues that we struggle with. It is my opinion that people struggling with orientation should not engage in relations with the same sex.
