last deal ended in adultery and divorce. Tammy Faye is dead. she married the man that fixed her husband up with a girlfriend. Roe Messner.
So how would you rate Christie Brinkley? Looks like things don't work out well for her. Ms. dysfunctional woman of the year awards.

Note to self. If prostitutes use make-up, is there a reason?

Christie brinkley shows us a model can attract men that do not work out as husband material. Suspicions confirmed. she had a Covergirl makeup contract.

Any other witnesses to success?
Listen, read slowly. Tammy Faye is NOT the model for make-up. Even the world knows she WAS (note I knew she was passed already) a joke.

I simply meant get a person that is not so extreme, which apparently you do not know how to do. I don't have any heroes and especially make-up heroes. I was just pointing out someone more attractive with their makeup than Tammy.

You are correct - - she had a Covergirl contract (thank goodness for www that you can look up all this info) - - Tammy Faye didn't. My point exactly.

Re: Cosmetics???

Interesting "discussion" going on here.

I once heard a preacher preach against makeup because he claimed makeup was intended to mimic what a woman looked like when she was in the throes of passion. Could have heard a pin drop as he described this.

As a wife and mother who is getting a little bit older, I have more compassion for women who feel the need to "help" themselves a little by using makeup. There are so many pressures out there to look good. Even from the pulpit. I've heard men preach against women looking frumpy. But, their awfully quick to condemn women using any actions that they deem as being too worldly. If I took everything I've ever heard preached and tried to abide by it, I'd be a mess - or wearing a burka. I think it really comes down to what a woman's own husband wants for her. I'm tired of trying to please Bro. so and so. Now I just ask my husband and leave it at that.

Re: Cosmetics???

I'm still waiting for someone to give scripture against makeup.

You're not holding your breath, I hope.

If some of the hardliners throughout the years were as worked up about soul-winning as they were about someone wearing eye shadow, there are a lot of unsaved souls that would have been brought into the Kingdom.

Sometimes I wonder if it makes the angels sad to see some of this stuff.

Are you a big soul winner?

List how being an advocate for wearing cosmetics has helped soul winning. Please be specific. The examples will be interesting.
Thanks.

Do you think the 75 minutes it takes to put on makeup for some women is the best investment of time?

Surely they don't witness 75 minutes a day.

75 minutes? Goodness gracious! Who takes over an hour to put on makeup? I'd guess most women do it in 5-10 minutes, TOPS!

Coadie, the real question is: do you have Bible against the use of cosmetics or not?

It's funny when people don't have Bible for something, because then they just start insulting other people and throwing up silly smokescreens. Trust me...we can all see right through the screen. I don't think the smoke is thick enough.

I have yet to see someone, in over 20 years of standards, come to the Lord by advocating NO makeup. It's irrelevant

Wow. I had to ask myself how seriously I should take this post.
I'll just give you the briefest of anwers.

If you dont see how man-made legalisms can be an obstacle to revival, then you need to really get your thinking straight, brother.
Plain and simple.

So you can't answer?

Is 75 minutes to put on makeup wasted time?

Tammy Fay baker is an example of more is better.

They sure get large churches. But you can't give an example of 1 case of cosmetics being beneficial for soul winning.

Not even one from the bible.

will your pastors wife teach ladies how to shun women that don't wear makeup?
