Most "holiness" preaching types would say they're not saved and need to change their appearance ... that's how I was raised. However, these two are incredible people and when they start praying, wow! So it's about touching God. In a more litteral translation The presence of God can translate the face of God. it is more direct contact. When we read about whoredoms in ezekiel and God comparing the spiritual adultery with physical adultery, we see word pictures of a very carnal woman. Why in the world people would want to emulate a woman of the night is beside me. If one wants to touch the face of God, there can be no idolatry or erroneous things between the person and God. The answer is to not have all the stuff.
