The leader of our prayer ministry is a man who has a good growth of beard and hair just above his shoulders. His wife wears jewelry and pants. Most "holiness" preaching types would say they're not saved and need to change their appearance ... that's how I was raised. However, these two are incredible people and when they start praying, wow! A lot of my thinking had to change after meeting and getting to know them.
