Someone mentioned he might have a medical degree, delivering babies?? I don't know but mennonites wouldn't go for men deliverying babies, I don't think. If was one for 50 years, did he o get the degrees at 50?

coadie I know you did not just call someone a redneck railroader. I want to know how you knew he was a redneck...and try to work your way out of a discriminating commit like that...define redneck...

I don't think so, either.  A forum is the social equivalent of a lot of people sitting around the table with one another, taking turns talking. Everyone is present to hear what is said, therefore even if the conversation takes a personal turn, it is in the presence of the person concerned, ergo, it is not gossip. If, for instance, coadie is on one side of me at the table, and I turn to the person on the other side and say, "Coadie's wife is a SAHM", in a tone loud enough for him and everyone else to hear--that isn't gossip. (Obviously) He's sitting right there to respond, if my facts are wrong. 
It can be rude...(coadie certainly illustrates that quite well), but gossip isn't even possible, unless you are talking about someone who isn't present, who can't defend themselves, or unless you take it to PM. (or outside the forum)
No matter about the gossip accusations--they're just an obvious diversion. LOL!!!!
I have a lot to do today, so I won't be able to hash this out any further--ya'll have fun!
