Halt on sale of Ammunition by June 30 2009?
Uploaded on January 22, 2009
I just received this in an email and I want to know if anyone has heard more about this issue.

Nobody can sell any ammunition after June 30, 2009
It has already started....
Ammunition Accountability Legislation Remember how Obama said that he wasn't going to take your guns? Well, it seems that his allies in the anti-gun world have no problem with taking your ammo! The bill that is being pushed in 18 states (including Illinois and Indiana ) requires all ammunition to be encoded by the manufacture a data base of all ammunition sales. So they will know how much you buy and what calibers. Nobody can sell any ammunition after June 30, 2009 unless the ammunition is coded. Any privately held uncoded ammunition must be destroyed by July 1, 2011. (Including hand loaded ammo.) They will also charge a .05 cent tax on every round so every box of ammo
you buy will go up at least $2.50 or more! If they can deprive you of ammo they do not need to take your gun! This legislation is currently pending in 18 states: Alabama , Arizona , California , Connecticut , Hawaii , Illinois , Indiana , Kentucky , Maryland , Mississippi , Missouri , New Jersey , New York , Pennsylvania , Rhode Island , South Carolina , Tennessee , and Washington . Send to your friends in these states AND fight to dissolve this BILL! To find more about the anti-gun group that is sponsoring this legislation and the specific legislation for each state, go to: http://ammunitionaccountability.org/Legislation.htm

So we can sell folks the paper and tobacco to roll their own cigarettes and someone will sell equipment to make your own bullets.

What are your thoughts?

This bill was introduced in 2007, and we're in 2009? The bill doesn't speak much and still in process of being voted in. If it passed, I would buy my ammunition in Nevada......problem solved!

That bill excludes Nevada ammunition.....not to mention I travel there periodically. It was in Nevada that a pastor friend introduced me to "guns."

It's been a while since he and I have been to the desert and have a "hallelujah shoot out!" I'll probably be going up there next month.

That assumes that some still believe they won't remove state sovereignty freedoms.

The SCOTUS is being forgotten by obama. He will have a long list of unconstitutional exectutive orders go to the supreme court.

http://michellemalkin.com/2009/03/17...am-for-pilots/

Obama has stalled the approval of pilots to carry weapons. Obviously there is another problem. They can't openly speak about it or their gun carrying is threatened.

Quote:
Pilots cannot openly speak about the changing policies for fear of retaliation from the Transportation Security Administration. Pilots who act in any way that causes a “loss of confidence” in the armed pilot program risk criminal prosecution as well as their removal from the program. Despite these threats, pilots in the Federal Flight Deck Officers program have raised real concerns in multiple interviews.
