there was a JPeg exploit but I think it involved adding an extra "dot"....in other words image.jpeg.xxx whatever x would be.

Really really old and no way it would make it past a virus scanner.

You are welcome. Malbytes is awesome. It's not something used to protect you though. You need an up to date virus scanner. I suggest getting the free AVG. Malbytes is a targeted virus scanner.

That's exactly what I did.

I got that virus, in fact it hit several of our computers.....and antivirus programs will not get it....it will not even show up on them....get someone who knows what they are doing , and they will have to clean the registry and do a complete reinstall.....I know I went through it.
