I've actually been told that the fear of touching public bathroom fixtures and door handles is not an invalid fear. These are very clear dangers if you are not careful. Did I mention that I wear gloves when shopping using a shopping cart? Once again, this is a very valid concern I have. I look really stupid sometimes with the gloves but I'd rather look stupid than be sick.

I read not too long ago that the average steering wheel of a car has more germs than a typical toilet. Yikes!

I heard that too. Fortunately I am the only one that drives my car; though, I still wear driving gloves.

Menus at restaurants..... how grody must they be.
Luckily, I'm not even remotely a germ-a-phobe, so I just sail through life without worrying about it too much. I know this one guy who is filthy, filthy, filthy... only bathes a few times a year, and lives in complete and utter filth. I figure if he's still kicking with all of the living organisms that must be around him, I should be fine.

Eddie and I stand at the door of the church and shake people's hands as they go out - hundreds of people. As soon as we're done, he heads to the restroom and scrubs. Half the time I don't even think about it. I am the least germaphobic person around.
I guess that's why I don't mind the mission field. I just don't think about it. And guess who is the ONLY one who doesn't get sick on missions trips? MOI!

My biggest phobia only started in the last 5 years. It is bad weather of any kind. When I was young it never bothered me, but since we moved back from AZ bad weather just racks my nerves to no end.......

Driving gloves?????????? Did you wake up thinking you were in England a few decades ago???? LOL!!!!
I assume you do not live in the South. I can just imagine a guy in Louisiana or Mississippi in July driving around with gloves on in 100 degree heat.
