We stayed at Harvey's which connects to Harrah's via tunnel. We hit the buffet on the 18th floor -- rather hard too!

Thanks for the tip!

I hope it is as good as it used to be! The view is totally amazing up there- one year there was a fire on the mountians and we watched it as we ate-Lol!

Fridays used to be the best, because they used to have sea food galore (not sure if they still do this)! Jumbo shrimp, and king crab! Makes me want to drive there tonight!

Glad you are having a good time!

Re: Lake Tahoe/Reno Bound

If you want to splurge some of that pile of money you made from being a TV star on the North Shore the Hyatt Regency has an upscale restaurant seperate from the hotel and literally on the shore of Lake Tahoe that has great food.

It is called the Lone Eagle Grill. The setting is very rustic with a huge rock fireplace, large windows overlooking the lake, and fabulous food.

However it is not cheap! It has Ruth Chris prices but also that quality food. I had a fantastic steak there three or four years ago.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.

"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

BTW, A & A have decided to move into the city (San Fran). They will move in a little over a month and commute by train. They are very excited!

I just want to say I was pleasantly surprised at the majesty of Lake Tahoe. The area around Emerald Bay is just awesome. I can't imagine what it will look like in a couple months when all is green.

I wish we had more time there. Next time we will spend an extra day at LT.

Food wise... we were swamped... lots of steak/seafood - and I confess most of this was "free" to us, comped by our product manufacturers.

I have a great pastor friend in the city, where they would fit right in. A lot of couples their age, cutting edge ministry!
