If you're talking about the one on Adultery that CC1 mentioned I'm sure you can get it from christchurchnashville.org.

I will have to see if I have the CD and listen to it again so I can accurately describe it.
I just thought he did an excellent job of getting into aspects of adultery that a lot of sermons about it don't touch.
L.H. is great because he combines being a very caring, empathteic person with a strong sense of right and wrong. He takes a strong stand with love in a way that people know he loves them and is not just trying to condemn them but help them.

One measure of a man is the voices of his son's. I have heard so many younger men speak very highly of Bro Hardwick. I know my pastor has as well. I wish that I would have been in a position to know him. Great news that he is still going strong at 77.

Re: Bro. Hardwick Preached for Us Today
Sherri -- I saw Bro. Hardwick and wife today at Paris Landing State Park. I was having breakfast when they were seated next to my table. Of course I immediately recognized him and called his name. He turned and called me by name - maiden name of course, as he remembers me. We had a nice visit. He told me he had preached at L&T and I wished I could have been there. I had never met his wife but she seems very nice. Of course, he had to tell her I was from Finley.... as he loves to talk about Finley! Says he and his siblings are planning another little visit to the little town where he grew up. He also mentioned getting together with several other friends there in Jackson at Bro. Simmons' house and the singing and such. Sounds like fun. I STILL plan to visit!

He talked about Finley in his sermon Sunday! I didn't even think about you knowing him from there, but I should have known that!!
They had about 60 people at Horace's house on Friday night, doing old music and just talking. I didn't go, but my mother in law and her husband did. They all had a good time.
Bro. H's wife Carole is wonderful. They've been married two years now, but she was on his staff at Christ Church for many years. So he was her pastor for a very long time before he was her husband. I still miss Montelle, but I love Carole too.

Re: Bro. Hardwick Preached for Us Today
I actually know him from "Holiness Hill" although he visited the church many times through the years while Dad pastored. I loved both he and Sis. Montelle. Sweet folks.
