I believe all or most still plan on singing. I am not familiar with them but believe that the various Crabbs are now split into several different singing groups with different styles of music, ministry, etc.

I seem to recall going to their website and reading an explanation months ago when I read they were splitting up.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.

"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

Re: Any Bluegrass fans out there?

I like GOOD bluegrass...perfect, pure harmonies, and well done acoustic music. If it's bad, I can't bear it. If it's good, I can listen for quite awhile.

My favorites are The Martins, Nickel Creek, and Alison Krauss, among others. The Clark Brothers (appeared on the Next Great American Band) are very good, although they merged high end bluegrass and rock for a fresh sound.

Re: Any Bluegrass fans out there?

A few times when I was forced to overdose on bluegrass I had to cleanse my system by listening to a little Pink Floyd, lest the sound of bluegrass haunt my fever dreams at night.

I'm a bluegrass fan and musician,as a matter of fact,I just got done doing a gig with some guys at a Historical Society type of engagement.
Of course you guys know I have a you-tube channel with me doing some picking, the group I played with tonight let me play electric bass instead of the upright.
