I was trying to find the post you responded to so I could say about the same thing.

Benjamin Franklin didn't make that statement because he was ignorant of where we are now.

He made that statement because he full well knew the dangers of where we are headed now.

(BTW... Can you believe that you and I are on the same side. It's pretty cool.
