1Jn. 3:1-2 gives help with the verse.
tongues will cease
knowledge(superantural) knowledge will vanish away
the gifts are no longer needed because we are seeing Him the gifts are the part and He is the perfect.
Epley, you are doing it again!!!! ALWAYS is not true!!!!!

Exo 33:9 And it came to pass, as Moses entered into the tabernacle, the cloudy pillar descended, and stood at the door of the tabernacle, and the LORD talked with Moses.
Exo 33:10 And all the people saw the cloudy pillar stand at the tabernacle door: and all the people rose up and worshiped, every man in his tent door.
Exo 33:11 And the LORD spoke unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend. And he turned again into the camp: but his servant Joshua, the son of Nun, a young man, departed not out of the tabernacle.

Please show me here where there was a literal face of God talking to the literal face of Moses! god showed up in a cloud! C'mon man, keep it scriptural!

Num 14:14 And they will tell it to the inhabitants of this land: for they have heard that thou LORD art among this people, that thou LORD art seen face to face, and that thy cloud standeth over them, and that thou goest before them, by day time in a pillar of a cloud, and in a pillar of fire by night.

We see in both places that God appeared to them as a cloud, and they called it face to face! Let the Bible be true and every man a liar!

Where was that perfect saint produced that no longer needed to speak in tongues?

What about 1Cor. 1:8???????????????????

I believe the record. The face was in the cloud God veiled the cloud was literal. It wasn't a mumbo jumbo allegory but a LITERAL happening.

Brother, did they see His literal face? The Bible says they saw Him face to face!

Then you go an say that a cloud covered His face! Did they or not see His literal face? If so, then what about John 1

Joh 1:18 No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.

What does that mean?

The FACT remains it was a LITERAL event and NOT an allegory! God was in the fire in th the bush and God was in the cloud. A LITERAL cloud.

That is outrageous-speaking in tongues used as a measuring stick for christian maturity??????? That is quite the opposite from what we read in the Bible, and specifically in 1 Corinthians. Sounds like FP bobbing and weaving to me.

I am going to try and find time to study this thread out. I can not imagine anyone believing that the rapture has already happened.

This same study explains that as well.

Eld. Epley teaches cessationalism. He also teaches there will be another gospel. These are both necessary for his Dispensationalism to work.

HAHAHAHA!!!!!

You cannot bring yourself to admit those scriptures are not there can you?!?!

Eld. Epley, so you do NOT believe the pre-trib rapture? You do not believe there will be a seven year agreement between the Jews and "the antichrist"? You do not believe there is a gap between Daniels 69th and 70th Weeks? Are you sure you're prepared to admit that over the internet??
