Glenda,
If you knew how it would end - then why did you start it? It really isn't as you think it was at JCM. I was an ultra-conservative and JCM was full of PCI folks. I learned many things I did not know as I was sheltered from the 'real world'.
It amazes me how people think because you don't hold the ultra-conservative UPCI dress code that you have no standards. I think so much focus has been on the outward that the inner man has been neglected.
If you truly love God - you abstain from immorality and sin. If you love God you will be modest in speech, dress, and of exceptional moral character.
Being holy is not about dress standards...it is about taking on the nature and character of God. I had some things I had to post today because of an 80th birthday of a dear friend, but I could not let this go by without responding.
If you want to say you are more holy than the rest of us because you don't cut your hair or wear makeup then you are fooling yourself and miss the point.
Sincerely,
Rhoni
