There's a house in our town that no will live in or a very long period of time. A story in the news a few months ago told about it being haunted. A few years ago We were at my wife's mom's house in Illinois I was standing at a dresser combing my hair. I saw a figure walk behind me in the mirror and started talking to my wife, thinking it was her who had just walked behind me. She didn't answer and when she didn't answer I turned around and she wasn't there. I checked all the upstairs then went down stairs and she was sitting in the dining room having coffee with her mom and sister. Said she had been there for half hour or so. That didn't bother me, I'm not afraid of things like that.
