A couple of days after our wedding, a few people asked "So how is married life treating you?", thinking they were the first to come up with that. I answered (with a very straight face) "Well, it has its ups and downs, but the important thing is that we don't let bitterness set in.".
This was usually met by some gasps! and a "Your terrible! <grin>" by my wife.....
