I'm not so stupid to think that unity will be 100% on ANY forum of this nature (or even of other natures, like politics). But, I must say it again, I get the sense that unity is not even desired here because it would take all of the "fun" out of it. I don't buy for a second that it's about "MY RIGHT" to express "MY BELIEFS". It seems simply about the perception that it would become boring.
I wonder if any will address that thought?

I am not here for any chills or thrills. I am here because it is the ONLY place I know of in the world where Oneness folks from ultra con to ultra lib all meet.
We are like one big dysfunctional family. We make friendships that sometimes get to be realized in real life in flesh and blood meetings. We have great disagreements. We all sometimes cross a line we should not but almost all realize it and pull back. We laugh together at life's funny moments, share in each other's grief, and lift each other up in prayer when there is a need.
There are many posters here of various perspectives that I hold dear. That doesn't mean I am not going to disagree with them, post things that will only please them, etc, etc.
This forum is reflective of life and reality and that is not always "unity". Never has been never will be.
The only way to have the unity you describe is to have a forum where everyone is of the same view or have the rules ratcheted down so tight there is no room to post anything controversial.
Just because you get offended at every thread that may kid or poke fun at the cons or ultra cons does not make this a terrible forum, it just means you read into things way more than is there. You are the "offense" king!!!! You take more offense than anybody I have ever seen.
