Apostolic is defined on AFF as:
- There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
- The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
- Every sinner must repent of their sins.
- That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
- That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
- The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

Re: Personal Encounter With A Copperhead Snake
I live in SE La. and we have lots of Cottonmouths here. They stink! I live near a bayou which is actually a 24 hr. snake buffet.. lots of tadpoles, lizards, crawfish, etc. I've killed quite a few. The last one was in my drive and tried to get away from me and crawled into the tiny opening between my garage door and the wall. I opened the garage door and tried to pushi it outside so I could kill it. It crawled between the wall which is attached to the house and wouldn't come out. I beat on the wall, called wild life pest removers, and finally just waited for it to come out. It didn't. Hours later I started praying. I said "God there's no way that I can sleep with that snake in my house. Please help me!" Finally I said "Snake! I have power over you. In Jesus name come out of that wall!" The snake crawled out at that instant and I killed it with a mop. True Story. God is good. Then last week, I picked up some palm fronds that I had cut off a tree earlier. A snake (another cottonmouth) fell from it and we had a tug of war. It curled and struck and all I had was the frond. I kept beating it with it but could never kill it. It was an aggressive bugger. I went back in the house to get something to kill it with and it was gone when I returned. It's probably waiting for the opportune moment to get even with me. *smiles*

I'm sorry, but I just have to laugh. At the thought of you beating a snake with a leaf.
Yeah I hear they have better memories than elephants........
