Being overlyharsh will come back to haunt you ,I was harsh and judgemental on someone's child once it came back to haunt me.
Be soft with your words, make them sweet lest you eat them.

Re: Singing for Rex Johnson this Sunday so stoked
Sandra is vicki yohe?
narrow's view might be this, backslid from the way she started out? *guessing here* and might be that others that are no longer in *the way* here, would have said the same thing when they were *in the way*?
but interesting enough why do UPC churches have none UPC individuals in their pulpits and platforms? and not just someone *sorry not spotlighting VY* but who doesn't have the (look) but alot of times it is someone who doesn't even believe the oneness.
*thinking* might should have taken that to an entirely different thread

A drive by poster! Same juvenile mentality as a drive by shooter.
Bitter and angry, both just shoot mindlessly and never stick around to answer for their actions.
Both should probably pray through.

Melody, not everyone in the UPC is afraid of diverse points of view. Nor does everyone believe all must be Oneness Pentecostal (much less UPC) to be saved.

Re: Singing for Rex Johnson this Sunday so stoked
I just think we should not run down people...I know who Sandra is and I think we should be kind and after we have exceded what she is doing maybe we could sit down and exchange opinions...
I am a old timer however I have learned a lot of things we boast about have a way of coming back home...and the story changes when it is our family...so if you cannot say something kind then learn not to say anything at all...a fool is known by his mulitude of words...

This is actually a very good question--one I haven't thought about. Why is that? Why have non-UPC people in to preach, teach, sing, do seminars, etc., but NOT people who used to be UPC, who look exactly the same as the formerly mentioned non-UPC people? (But in most cases the latter are closer to the UPC core doctrines.)

Re: Singing for Rex Johnson this Sunday so stoked
Back in Austin on the 15th.
This time at Pastor Phillips' Promiseland.
The bars are coming down; the barriers are falling; Is there an amalgamation of congregations in the future?
