6 med. ripe bananas
1 (12 oz) can frozen orange juice, thawed

3 cups warm water, divided
2 cups sugar
1 ( 46 oz) can pineapple juice
3 (2liter) lemon lime soda

Blend in first three ingredients until smooth. Add 11/2 cup warm water and 1 cup sugar. Blend. Add remaining water and sugar. Blend and freeze. About 1 hour before serving, remove from freezer to thaw into a slush. Add pineapple juice and soda. Stir until well blended. Makes about 2 quarts juice.
This sounds really good, too!

See, I KNEW strawberries were EVIL!!!

Don't worry, I oversee and take care of everything - usually. Why would someone put them in the freezer before cutting the tops off anyway? LOL!

Re: Ladies! Need help on wedding punch!

My wife says she uses....

Make concentrate:
2 pkgs. of unsweetened cherry koolaid
2 pkgs. of unsweetened strawberry koolaid
1 can of unsweetened pineapple juice
1 can of unsweetened orange juice
4 cups of sugar
mix till all dissolved

For every 2 cups of concentrate add a 2 liter lemon lime or sprit.

One recipe good for about 50 people depending on your size cups.

IT IS THE BOMB! I don't like punch, but I drink this.

Slushy Punch

2 1/2 c. sugar
3 c. water
Boil and stir until sugar is dissolved.
Add
1 12 oz. can frozen Orange Juice Concentrate
1 12 oz. can frozen Lemonade Concentrate
1 46 oz. can pineapple juice
3 c. cold water
Stir until the frozen juices are dissolved. Then pour into cake pans or other shallow pans. Freeze overnight. When frozen, cut into chunks and put into gallon ziplock bags.
When ready to use, put the chunks into a large (2 gallon) punch bowl. Pour 2 2 liter bottles of 7-Up or Sprite over the frozen chunks. Stir until the chunks break up and mix with the pop. It will look like frozen applesauce. Tastes yummy.
Margie,
I think you are winning. I went over all of the recipes and I think this is the one I want to use.

Everyone I know loves it.

I will suggest if you make this one you not forget to take it out in time to start thawing. But it is great kind of slushy.
