My apologies!!! I mis-read your comment. I thought you said "there ARE NOT enough foaming at the mouth." Oops! I went off based on what I thought you said.
But based on my experience here, trinitarianism is still a HUGE "foaming" issue and I think it's sad. So I guess my challenge still stands but I mis-read your quote.
Please forgive me.

It used to be that you couldn't even be considered a church unless you had a minimum of one accordion for every 25 members.
My pastor used to play a mean tambourine. I haven't heard a good tambourine shaking in years.
There you go folks, the decline of the UPC is the direct result of the loss of accordions and tambourines.
BTW - I've got an acoustic-electric bass for sale if your church would like to get closer to God.

My "redneck" sensor just went off Batman!!!
Actually, nice bass, I'll ask around. How much$?

I know how you feel.
I think they do know that things are in trouble. IMO they are working on the younger generation... I have heard more standards preaching and more Acts 2:38 doctrine preaching lately than I have heard in years. This past week at Youth camp has been a continual teaching/preaching on the subjects. They are hammering it hard and I understand why... still don't think that's the answer.

The problem is that the UPCI has labelled so many things sin which are not labelled sin in the scripture, that it would be extremely embarrassing and assaulting its integrity, to back track. However, Jesus stated that TRUTH would set the captive free. Until one is willing to face the truth, they will continually use their energy to hide it! Fear is a terrible taskmaster and an enemy of TRUTH.
I am a holiness preacher. I believe that when we are saved that we are saved FROM something. That SOMETHING is sin! We should be able to say, "That is what I WAS and this is what I AM!"
But we should also be willing to proclaim biblical truth and let convictions stand to the bearer. That's my opinion and I'm stickin' to it! LD

Well said, well said!!
Thank God the church, the called out ones is growing everyday, God is leading and guiding the lost to salvation that is full and free in Jesus Christ. Whether or not a particular organization continues forever is not that critical, just know that the Body of Christ is alive and well in the earth today!!! He has his thousands that have not bowed to Baal.

I've got it up for $275 with a hard shell case.
It just might be the answer to keeping the UPC from going down the Hillsong drain.

The bible doesn't call all to be ministers, teachers apostles etc.
I heard last year there were hundreds in Texas liscensed UPC that were in churches but didn't have their own. They are starting churches and could start more.

As TFT used to say, "The main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing!"
I am amazed to see maybe 70% or higher of former UPC bible school students no longer associated with the UPC. Aren't bible school students supposed to be the best of the best and the future of the organization? This is a very telling sign in itself!
