Let's take a look at Paul's baptism...
(Acts 22:16 KJV)
(16) And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.
Notice it wasn't Ananias who was to call on the name of the Lord over Paul... it was Paul, the person being baptized, who was to call upon the name of the Lord.
It doesn't matter who says what over you when you're baptized. If you're calling out to Jesus it's effectual. Formulas are inventions of men. Baptism isn't the time for formulas... it's a time for cleansing and the washing away of sin. Only a repentant heart calling out to Jesus in the waters of baptism can experience the remission of sin.
We've ritualized using the name of Jesus just like the Trinitarians have ritualized using the three titles. Both of us have become quite... ceremonial.
