I told a dear friend the other day on the phone that I sometimes have trouble speaking my mind, and she said..."You do?" And then, all flustered, I tried to explain that I do, actually, avoid conflict.... I could feel her disbelief through the phone.

I'm still in shock. This info may have ruined my perceptions of some internet friends.
