America we are in a lot of trouble!

Esther, maybe the organization can put you on television, and you can be the "church lady."

Living for God can be pretty expensive in some areas.

I wonder how much Paul charged for writing his epistles?

The church is the first they call for prayer - it takes a pretty serious illness to keep them away! 82 years and 77 years old. More faithful than alot of younger people I know who don't have health issues!

Sister, in the verse I quoted it says to call for the elders, doesn't mean to pick up a telephone. It means that those who have a serious illness must send for the elders, and have them come to anoint and pray for those who have an issue. Back during a time when church was a community, anyone who was sick was being taken care of through personal prayers and personal ministry. No need for separation, dis-fellowship, and coldness of a television screen to replace real live Brothers and Sisters who will love and care for you.

If they sold there T.V. i'm sure they could get a good supply of CDs and have people burn them.

respectfully, the call to the church brings someone to pray and make sure any other needs are met during time of sickness, especially life-threatning illness!! Believe me, God has come on the scene many time and healed - I agree that we all need that fellowship of believers - for they're more than that, they're our family. Blessings to you.

Well, he does encourage them to come out to church, but you can't force people. Alot of them end up coming, but if they won't come, I'd rather they hear truth on TV than no where!!! And........we do not take money from the TV crowd.
