It's the same reason we don't do fundraisers for anything. If God can't supply the funds from inside the House, then we don't need to go outside and ask for money from the world. So far He has blessed us and we've been able to fund whatever we've needed to do without selling peanut brittle or chicken dinners. If that's what others do, then that's ok, but it's never been what we've felt like was right for us.

I wasn't won by a television Jesus, I was won by a man who took the time to work with me personally. I was too busy flipping the channels and trying to figure out why those T.V. preachers were so pasty looking and who sprayed their hair on, to consider their message. Our country is done with televised Church, they are so Postmodern its not funny. What is up and coming now is grungy preachers like Erwin McManus, and his greasy hair, and dirty t-shirts.
We are in a lot of trouble in this country, and we need to get some real personal Apostolic Pentecostal contact with the people. Not a blue screen hodown with greasy "Bro" preachers.

Bro. B, I don't think those that use TV (like Sherri's church) are trying to abdicate discipleship. It's part of getting the word out, and hopefully that will lead to a connection and discipleship.

No one was ever baptized in the book of Acts Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, all was done in the name of Jesus. The Apostolic movement didn't make up Acts 2:38, they were the ones who squeezed through the strait gate, while the Trinitarians were blasting them and saying they were wrong. The Bible isn't suppose to be Russian Roulette.
Jesus said the wind blows were it listeth and you hear the sound. Meaning the Holy Ghost goes where it wants, and you hear the voice of the Holy Ghost. Jesus then went on to say that in everyone who is born again you would hear that voice of the Holy Ghost. Sister, again, Jesus was the one who said it was a narrow way, with a strait gate. That is as plain as Acts 2:38. God gives the Holy Ghost to those who obey Him. It seems that there are far more of those who disobey, than those who obey.
Sister, think of how many Roman Catholics there are, or how many Muslims are out there. They also don't see things that are written in the scriptures.
I'm NOT aligning you with those groups, but I must say that you just need to see that there is only one way, and it doesn't have tributaries flowing out from that way. Wouldn't it be horrible to devout our lives to the work of God, to only find out that we weren't doing His work at all? You may want to place that on me, and say what if your wrong. Sister, some things are far too plain in the Bible, and JESUS NAME baptism and in filling of the Holy Ghost with tongues are it.
Then if you have a revelation that the bridge is out then you have a responsibility to strongly warn those who are speeding towards the washed out crossing. Without fear or favor.
Sis, you are teaching these people things that you are saying are required. Then if they are required of those under you, they are also required of all those on the planet where you reside. It is that simple. Reason you are in five states correct? Reason you are in Africa correct? If it is required then it must be obeyed.
Well, it is not as hard as you say, because He will still REQUIRE the blood of all those we failed to warn.
The lake of fire burns day and night forever and ever, and hell is thrown into it. Places like that I need to avoid.

Why is the "strait gate" only used against fellow believers? Don't you think for the world, serving Christ is a pretty narrow way? In a world that "all ways lead to God", and "all religions are good?" Perspective, my good man, perspective.

Make the bad name a good one. You are a little too late.
Try logging off and getting into reality.

That is what you saw? Take my advice, have your internet disconnected, and try driving around on the public bus in the nearest city to where you live. Take your Bible and read your Bible on the bus. Do that for the whole day and into the night.
When you are done then log on and post about your experience.

Have you ever read "Winning Friends and Influencing People?" Wait, I know the answer. You could tell someone the sky is blue, and your approach would make them look for a way to disagree.
Bro E was complimenting Sherri and that's what you responded? Doesn't even make sense.

People like you found here in Fort Lauderdale, end up unconscience on the beach.
For the most part obnoxious people are ignored, and when those same obnoxious people inform the inhabitants of the city about their Christianity, they are doubly ignored.
