So I will not call what God has blessed unclean, and neither should you.
Do they have perfect understanding? Do you? Is your lack more sanctified than their? We need to open our eyes and realize there is a God and he is bigger than our understanding.
The division is of our own making, as long as men demand that everyone thinks and understands the things of God EXACTLY the same the body will be divided against itself. If we have an attitude of love and cooperation the Holy Spirit brings unity, not perfect carbon copies, but unity of Spirit.
But, Alas all men seem to have to have their way or its the parting of ways. Have you raised children? If you have more than two, they will be different and process information differently simply due to temperament, so will you allow the family to split over different understanding? Sadly in the family of God men do.
It does not do damage to my faith to embrace the wider body of Christ, and in many cases they receive from me and I have learned from them. The result is I am a stronger believer in Jesus Christ than I would have been otherwise.
The Scripture is still my standard, and Jesus is still the Savior of the world.
