These are 4 of the people who received the Holy Ghost at Ohio Camp last Friday.
The mother grew up at the church where I went as a teen. In fact, her grandmother was a founder of the church many, many years ago. Her mother died when she was just a young teen and she didn't come to church after that. She grew up, got married and had 2 beautiful daughters. On Easter of this year, she decided to bring her girls to the church she had grown up in. She said that she started to cry the minute the service started and eventually had to get up and walk out because she was crying so hard. But she came back. And back and back. And brought her husband and her 2 daughters with her. Making a long story short, she and her family went to Buckeye Lake for camp on Friday evening, where all 4 of them received the Holy Ghost.
I was also talking to the sister whose husband pastored Antioch for alot of years. He passed away last year, but she still goes there. She was telling me that her oldest son, who hasn't been to Buckeye Lake in over 30 years and who has not been attening church, also received the Holy Ghost on Friday night at the campground. (MOW, you will know Jeff)
Sounds like SOMETHING great was going on

Questions:
1. Were they instructed to repeat the sinner's prayer?
and then
2. Were they instructed to repeat certain sounds and phrases to "prime the pump" so they could go on and speak with tongues?

Hey Sam,
Although I've heard a variation on what some would call "the sinner's prayer", many would use that description for the prayer led by Bro. Klinedinst. Very powerful yet succinct.
There was no priming. I personally would have taken issue with that. It was very clear that there was an expectation of a powerful move of God. Very scripturally focused and explained.

Sinatra,
my hope in posting this picture was that if people could put a face to what went on, it might be more "real" to them. I'm no longer going to an Apostolic church. I'm the first to admit that. But that doesn't mean that I feel a need to put down what happened at the Camp this year. There is no doubt in my mind that this was an awesome and wonderful pouring out of the Spirit of God in this service.

Personally, I believe EXPECTATION of a move of God is the key!!!!! Your heart is ready for whatever He has for you and you know you're not going away disappointed!!!!
