But all is not lost. Michael has entered a couple of other contests. One is a Sallie Mae video contest. If he advances to the next level; he will need some votes. 
The other is for DirectTV. Michael is being sent to China now (just before school starts) to get it made! 200 people came up with ideas for a commercial and Filmaka chose 20 ideas to fund. Michael's idea was chosen and he is being given $5000 to bring it to fruition where it will be judged against 19 other contestents also given $5000 each. Ten of these commercials will win prizes from $2500 to $15,000. There are lots of logistical unknowns with this Chineese commercial. Oh my!  |
I'd recommend doing some checking into that website and who owns it. I wonder just what they are using the videos that were entered into their contest for. Perhaps to make money for themselves by taking advantage of people by putting up a fake contest to solicit the videos? Sorry, sometimes I just have a suspicious mind.... LOL
Oh... Make sure someone makes the next voting thread about his videos a sticky thread. I missed out on getting to see this one till today.
