LOL! ive lost 18 pounds since surgery. it led to some research on what I need to do.
I walk my office floor up to 5 times a day. One lap takes about 4 minutes.
another thing you can do is get a pedomiter. you can get a good one for less than 10 dollars. take 10k to 15k steps per day will do more for your health and weight than an hour a day in the gym!
I read a book called "reversing heart desiese" if my memory is right.
that book quoted a study of 10,000 people study that shows the following
sedintary people die at a rate of 50 per 1000 people. people who walk 30 minutes 4 times per week die at a rate of 24 per 1000. people who have a very high rate of exercise (Marathon training) die at a rate of 19 per 1000.
Sedintary people die but just becoming ACTIVE cuts the chance of death in half, but at the same time there is little statistical difference between walking moderately and training for a marathon!
