I believe all of the above, but I enjoy the forum the way it is. I think the discussions are thought provoking and beneficial for the most part. Any thread that does not interest me, I skip. I suggest those that don't like some of the threads to the same.

How about those that want a forum where everyone agrees with them, start a new forum and invite those they agree with?
We do not require everyone to believe the same thing.

I think the bottom line is respect. No mocking of beliefs, just honest discussion.

Re: Dear Admin and Owner

Why is it important that we all agree? I have read some posts, and I have ignored others. Some have made me think. None has made me change my beliefs, though several times arguments-even ones AGAINST my stance-have strengthened my stance.

One of my personally favorite posters is Timmy, because he has a way with posting hilarious one-liners. I enjoy verbal sparring when it is done in fun and without jumping on anyone or intent to hurt or downplay anyone. Timmy is a master of witty one-liners that don't hurt and do sometimes make us think, but he would be banned, I assume. That would be a great loss here IMHO.

I have wondered what the many visitors to this site think of apostolics when they read some of the posts. I have also wondered why some people continue to post when they seemingly don't agree with much. I've also wondered how many 'dissenters' are alter egos of one person or several persons on this board. Sure we can ban people, but there is really no way to keep someone from reregistering under a different name and different stats.

The only other option is to be like caf, and there is already a caf, so what would be the point?

Thanks for what you said about Timmy. He is, by far, one of my favorites.

That's right on!

Though I confess that I did almost post the following:

You're right too.

Except about Timmy. That guy's just a goof. ... whoa, gotta check the blood sugar. I'm about to have "fun" on the Internet. That usually means "bad news" the next day.

Re: Dear Admin and Owner

I agree with the bit about allowing Timmy to remain.

I enjoy his posts even though I know he's not OP.
