Letter from his website:

Letter from Pastors Joe and Jean Parker
Dear Friends,

Jean and I have recently resigned as Senior Pastors at Valley Church in Caldwell, Idaho. We spent a year and a half there and enjoyed our tenure and felt we made some great progress. We bless Valley and know that they will continue to move to the future.

Jean and I believe that God has a work for us to do here in the Treasure Valley. Pray with us about our strategy. We will be taking some time in the next few weeks to spend with friends and Spiritual oversight solidifying our next steps.

Feel free to visit this site and stay updated on our plans. We have a number of respected friends like Dave Keller, Brad Carpenter, Steve Goff, Bud Yadon and Pat Drake that will be meeting for prayer and fellowship. During this period they will be helping to communicate any informal or announced fellowships. We trust that you too will be praying for God’s direction for your lives as well as ours.

Let’s all remember this is Kingdom business, and we are building His work together. We all need each other to fulfill Christ’s command to reach the world.

Again, pray for Jean and me that the peace of God will rule our hearts and minds, and in the coming weeks that God will open doors and give us His perfect direction for this time.

Seems to happen when names get used.

Whatever happened to requiring that initials only be posted? That used to be policy I thought. Maybe I thought wrong.
I like that initial policy. I'm gonna PM you something.

Verified twice. It happened.

From the looks of the letter above, looks like Pastor Parker is moving ahead and has blessed the church ... so the question is why post this?

What's the point in it, when the subject of the post has obviously moved on and likely wouldn't want to discuss the details in a public forum ... much less with anyone in private conversation.

Two Reasons

Joe Parker is regarded well on here, he has people who know and love him.

The reasons why he left are known to a few, I haven't given them, though I suspect my information is correct. That being, the reasons he left are far to common in Pentecost/Charismatic Circles. That is troubling to me.

No harm is meant to the Parkers.

Just heard about this, praying for the Parkers, they are good people. Their son went to school with me at CLC.
