Bouncing to the beat, good or bad?

I have heard people think it is wrong for the young people to enjoy music with lots of drum and electric guitar. Some think that they enjoy the music more than really worshiping God.

I am not exactly young, but I feel that the music and words can encourage me to worship God and I naturally want to "bounce" to the beat. I personally don't see a problem with this, but wonder what others here think?

Even babies seem to enjoy a good beat, is this because we are sinners from birth, or because God put an enjoyment to music with a beat in us? LOL

I don't see much harm in it. I seriously doubt headbanging is Apostolic though...

My parents did not like me listening to rock-type of music because of the beat of it. They did not consider it a Christian beat, lyrics or no lyrics. I had to sneak and buy the "Jesus Freak" single. They have lightened up as their years advance.

Well, I can understand the meaning, its trying to make the church a little wordly.
But I can surely say that if the praise is pure then go for it!
I like the old stuff the best myself, but hey What can someone so?
