Re: 10.01.09-The End of Haneywood - D. Bernard New
I wonder if KH will take back the Stockton church. NH is not well.

Word has it that this is true. And he isn't happy to see what remains of the healthy church when he left. The "word has it", I probably shouldn't have repeated it, because to be honest, this came from 5th and 6th-hand sources.

Me thinks you speak amiss....
How could he "take it back" - he resigned and a new pastor was voted in. The Board would have to "fire" the new pastor or he would have to resign (and that ain't happening) then the church would have to vote in a new pastor.... hm-m-m-m-m I'm not sure I see that happening.... There are a lot of people in that church that are completely satisfied and happy with their current pastor.

Re: 10.01.09-The End of Haneywood - D. Bernard New
So, DB it is. WOW, that is an interesting chain of events, indeed. It would appear that the conservatives have the "con" now. (pun intended) It will be interesting to see how it plays out. I can't tell you how much "fun" it is to be watching from the sidelines with absolutely nothing to gain or lose by who sits on the hallowed WEC "throne."
I pray him well and an extra thick hide! Unless he is able to unite the factions, he'll either resign early, or there will be another exodus....maybe both.

I have the Forward magazine in my hands and I would state from the article by DB on the Hair issue that he IS a supporter of the HMH doctrine. He talks about the whole power with the angels stuff!!!
