That's why so much of this is a cultural thing within Pentecostal ranks. To the world that we are trying to save it can look ridiculous at times.

It's really hard not to find nice things to wear when you are dressing up for church or meetings, but I know what you mean and I do agree.

I've always said it - watches are jewelry. If you don't believe in jewelry, you shouldn't wear a watch. Any kind, much less the bracelet-y kind.

I do wear a watch, but I don't think jewelry is wrong. If I did, I wouldn't wear one.

I'm not sure I would consider a watch as jewelry. Having been in jobs where I had appointments to keep - it's a useful and serviceable item.

Of course when you get into the choices - diamonds,etc, you can go over the top and end it up looking like a bracelet.
