These things are considered pretty conservative by many in the religious world

I also believe in Acts 2:38, but tempered and interpreted by the rest of the gospel. Meaning, if someone dies after truly repenting but before being baptized in Jesus name, they WILL spend eternity with God, just as the thief on the cross did.

But surely you mean that Jesus was concieved by a virgin? Once Mary gave birth that was ended!

There is a doctrine, from Catholicism that states that Mary remained a virgin after the birth of Jesus, thus she is still the Virgin Mary.

We believe that Jesus was concieved of a virgin, but not the virgin birth.
