Maybe I have this wrong, but in the thread, "The end of Haneywood?", it sounds like there was an initial vote in which KH didn't retain the GS office. THEN a nominating ballot in which PM got 660 votes. It was then that he pulled out. It sounds like his name ran twice before he withdrew.
But then again, I may be totally out-to-lunch. Food actually sounds good right now.

Your account sounds identical to what pel said. If he pulled out right after the nominating vote then it makes perfect sense. It wouldn't seem right to refuse nomination before you were nominated. So if that's what he did then he did exactly what he should have.
