I voiced that I felt that was crude and inappropriate language for a man of God.

I dont personally give a flip the context..
If I had been there with my young kids I would have walked out.
I was told I did not like "solid Apostolic Preaching"....

If Crude lingo is Apostolic... then call me Catholic...

My daughter walked out a couple weeks ago when her pastor started talking about a gang rape taking place on a pool table. She was appalled that he was talking about that in church with kids/teens in there.

That is a very sensitive story, I agree that talking about it in specific detail is too much. I heard it referenced by a preacher in general terms the other night (that a young girl was "attacked: while a crowd watched) and I tensed up as soon as he started to mention it because I wasn't sure how far he was going to take it... but, I didn't feel like he crossed the lines in the way he handled it. Also, this was in a service that all of the children and teens were in other parts of the building.

What's apf and jp? I tried to join Apostolic men and Wordshare but for some reason they didn't confirm me. I did hear from Apostolic men once and suspect I got banned before I ever posted. I'd like to find a forum that so many people don't dislike UPCI so much.
