I'd like to formally announce that I like Switchfoot, their music, and the way they have chosen market their music and share their faith. I think it's not only genius, but it's biblical and effective.

If you, on the other hand, don't see it that way, I support you and consider you a Godly lady and a good friend!

I'm not being critical of their music. And don't care that they aren't explicitly Christian in their lyrics or target audience. If they want to appeal to the nonChristian, fine, whatever. I just don't see how they can use their music to win souls to Christ like you say they do, if they don't proclaim Christ.

I haven't read the link. I've only listened to one song. I could barely understand the lyrics. (it would be too painful for me to listen to another song! LOL!!) I understand that they don't want to be classified as a Christian band. I looked up their web site and facebook page...nada about Christ. If they can win folks to Christ without mentioning His name, glory to God!!
