Wow! These pictures make me cry - partly because I look as big as a barn. Ha! Especially in the African dress. Time to hit the diet again.

And just to add a couple things...........
You should have seen all the Alvears playing musical chairs on that big bus! They would hop in and out of that driver's seat, changing drivers, without ever stopping the bus. It was hilarious!!
Also, they didn't tell me until we were halfway into the sugar cane fields that it was the most dangerous road in NE Brazil for bandits!! I felt like a true missionary that night!
