Clarity

Let me share a short note about clarity.

Do you remember those times?

Maybe it was at home in prayer. Maybe it was at church and God moved and blessed you and you felt him so near and so close by.

Do you remember how you felt?
Do you remember that you had trouble feeling angry about people you were feeling angry about before?
Do you remember that, pardon the cliche, it made you wanna love everybody?
Do you remember that you could find forgiveness to offer in that moment that you had not been able to find before?

I just want to make sure that we all realize this.

THAT moment... was clarity.
THAT moment... is when we saw things through God's eyes and not our own.
THAT moment... was reality without the cloud of our faulty human emotion.

The next day... the next week... the fading of the forgiveness and the rising again of strife and all things fleshly. Those are our enemies rising again. When we realize they are rising again let that realization call us back to our knees so we can, once again, find some more clarity.
