Why is this particular section - General Debate - developed so that you can't read the posts without having to log in? What is the purpose for that?

I can't even find the General Debate section! Although now I can see my thread again, after I logged on. How did it slip into the GD section? I posted it in the Fellowship Hall, I think...

Admin will be moving debates in that area. I've asked that they leave a move link for at least a day so you can find it.

In my few months here, I think 2 threads, out of 4,695, were not debates!

You are correct.
We even debate in the recipe thread - - plain or self-rising flour!
Mostly the doctrinal debates will be moved.
